The drummer's band won't be performing this week due to his medical condition.
Blink-182 is forced to cancel their Las Vegas shows this weekend. Blood clots were found in both of Travis Barker's arms. His condition is considered to be a medical emergency. Travis Barker's medical team has yet to give him the medical clearance that would allow him to perform. The situation comes as a great loss for both the band and their fans since the canceled performances were highly-anticipated and heavily promoted. The shows would have been the third run of their Las Vegas Residency at the Palms Hotel and Casino. It is unclear how long the band's hiatus will last, but they promise to reschedule the dates. According to a post on their official Facebook page, they will also refund those who cannot attend the postponed shows.
Travis Barker is known as one of the best contemporary drummers across multiple genres. His collaborations with various artists have enabled him to straddle both the rock and the hip-hop scenes with ease. Recently, he was featured on "Pain" from XXXTentation's ?album. He can also be found on Paris' debut album titled One Night In Paris, which was released in April this year. The track "CRUSHIN" is available for streaming here. We've also caught him being a decent dad. Barker is a well-rounded rockstar, for real.
