Several hanging deaths have been reported in recent weeks and the latest has just taken place in Texas.
Following the deaths of Robert Fuller and Malcolm Harsch, who were both found hanged in trees in California, a teenage boy was found dead hanging in an elementary school parking lot.
Authorities claim that there was no foul play reported in his death. The teen's death is said to have been a suicide.
Deputies responded to a call at Ehrhardt Elementary School at approximately 8 PM on Tuesday (June 16).
"Based on security video, witnesses and other evidence, preliminary indications are the male hanged himself. There are currently no signs of foul play. Cause of death is pending autopsy," wrote the sheriff's office on Twitter.
This is becoming a troubling trend as this is the second public hanging in the area in as many weeks.
The name and age of the teenager were not released.

The school district issued a statement: "On Tuesday night, an individual was found in distress on the property of Ehrhardt Elementary School. First responders immediately began attempts to save the individual's life. The individual did not survive. This matter remains under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff's Office."
