A$AP Rocky teases a new album dropping soon.

It's been two years since Lord Flacko Jodye II blessed us with a solo album, in the form of At. Long. Last. A$AP. In the interim, A$AP Rocky has been establishing himself as a fashion icon, rubbing shoulders with Jenners, and putting in work with his crew A$AP Mob. The Mob's latest album Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy featured a dominant presence from Rocky, who has taken on the crew's de-factor leadership position. However, there were some that felt as if Too Cozy found the group being exactly that, and as a result, the album lacked some of that vintage fire.

Regardless of where you stand on the Mob's sophomore effort, you can't deny that Rocky is one of the most talented young lyricists in the game, with a persona enhanced by an icy charisma. After announcing a solo album back in August, A$AP recently built even more hype with a strange yet exciting tweet:

What crash test dummies and the obesity epidemic have to do with A$AP Rocky's upcoming project remain unknown. Perhaps there's some sort of cryptic, deeper meaning at play here, but it's more likely that Rocky is merely using the dummy to signify that his new shit will make people go dumb. Or perhaps he's simply delivering an album full of high-octane work-out music in a fit of determination to save the nation from themselves.

Regardless of whatever creative direction he decides to take, Rocky has consistently delivered creative, experimental, and challenging solo albums. While his contributions to the Mob's latest project may seem like a warm-up, it wouldn't be surprising to see Rocky ending the year on top. Stay tuned for his as of yet untitled album, coming "A$AP."
