News <p>Young Jeezy has been steady building his CTE roster, adding Freddie Gibbs to the team earlier this year, but Tuesday night (November 29) on Twitter DJ Folk revealed that he tried to get the Snowman to sign another rap rookie in addition. Folk originally tried to recruit Big K.R.I.T. as he envisioned the rapper/producer as CTE’s version of Kanye West.<br />

Blige recently shared some details with <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.xxlmag.com/news/2011/09/mary-j-blige-reveals-details-on-her-rick-ross-duet/">XXL</a> about recording with Rick Ross for his upcoming <em>God Forgives, I Don’t</em> album which is expected to be released in December. The song was done in Marvin Gaye’s studio in LA.</p>

News <p>Law enforcement sources say ... 31-year-old Flo Rida was driving around in his red and black 2008 Bugatti -- valued around $1.7 million -- when cops observed the rapper swerving in his lane and pulled him over around 3:30 AM.<br />

During the stop, cops detected the odor of alcohol -- so Flo was given a field sobriety test ... and didn't perform very well.<br />

Flo -- real name Tramar Dillard -- was arrested on suspicion of DUI and taken to a nearby station where he is currently being booked.<br />

News <p>After serving less than half of his 90-day sentence, DMX has been released from a Los Angeles prison. The Yonkers native was freed Thursday (Aug. 12) afternoon after serving only 18 days behind bars for a probation violation, stemming from a 2002 reckless driving conviction. X turned himself in late July after his release from an Arizona prison where he had just served six months behind bars for violating parole with substance abuse.<br />

News <p>Yet another con man has been arrested for impersonating Drake's manager, and attempting to rip off unsuspecting promoters looking to book the rap star.<br />

According to a complaint filed by Milwaukee, Wisconsin promotions company, Eagles Entertainment, Joey Turner Jr. (aka Jo Flowroshus) posed as Drake's manager, Cortez Bryant recently, and bilked the promotions company out of a $9,000 deposit for a show scheduled to take place Sept. 1 in Milwaukee.<br />
