News <p>The-Dream is one of the great contemporary pop songwriters, so his fans took his impending solo retirement talk with a good deal of sadness. It looks like that break has come to pass, though. The-Dream has announced that he's heard his fanbase loud and clear and he's preparing to release another album of R&B manifestos in August.<br />

He announced the news on the red carpet for the premiere of Justin Bieber's 3D documentary 'Justin Bieber: Never Say Never.' "Everybody's calling for an album now, so I should have one out by August," he said, breaking the news.<br />

Last night, producer Just Blaze posted a Twitvid while in the studio with the West Coast veteran, who made it clear that 'Detox' would be landing in stores on April 20 -- a nod to 4/20 culture and the title of the album's prequels.<br />

Despite an apology and attempts to clarify his two-week-old comments about “not sucking 2Pac’s dick,” Funkmaster Flex is still being questioned for the timing of his statements. Fellow deejay and radio personality King Tech, called Crooked I—who like ‘Pac once called Death Row Records home—to get a different viewpoint on both the timing and the comments.<br />

According to Forbes Magazine, the head of Los Angeles luxury car "pimper" Platinum Motorsports, George Keshishyan, said matte black paint jobs are the order of the day, as rappers now prefer to travel incognito.<br />
