Bronx rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has been slowly gaining steam since last year, getting a big boost by appearing as a special guest during the New York stop of the Summer Sixteen Tour. It appears Jordan Brand has taken notice. They cast the young rapper as one of the starring faces for the new lifestyle sneaker, the Formula 23.
Although the Formula 23 is a lifestyle sneaker, it’s also one of the lighted in Jordan Brand’s entire collection. The low weight is achieved via a bevy of performance materials, including neoprene collar and synthetic leather mudguard.
In addition to the shoe, Jordan has re-introduced its Jordan Wings Muscle Suit, a bomber that features perforated side panels and the classic Wings logo that predates the Jumpman. Everything is available now online. NFL receiver Michael Crabtree also appears in the campaign.
Meanwhile, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has been consistently collaborating with notable names like Young Scooter, Lil Bibby and (potentially) Drake.
