Rich The Kid continues a long-standing rap tradition in his new video.

When "Dead Friends," a track off Rich The Kid's debut album The World Is Yours dropped, there was a lot of buzz around the lyric's blatant shots against Lil Uzi Vert, where Rich makes fun of Uzi's height and claims that he's broke.

Later it was reported that the single would be receiving a video, and would feature a Lil Uzi Vert stand-in. Now the video has finally arrived, and we know what Rich had planned if Uzi tried to cross him.

The video begins with Rich and "Uzi" riding around in his car, with Uzi complimenting Rich on his album sales and asking if he can get put on. Bizarrely, this implies that the universe in which this video is set is one in which Uzi is trying to get a handout from Rich after the Uzi diss track has dropped, but the plot holes aren't too important here.

After Uzi makes a scene at a poke game, Rich finds out that Uzi tried to set him up. This leads to a predictable ending, with the fake Uzi being kidnapped and buried in a shallow grave.

While this video is obviously melodramatic, it does follow in a classic rap tradition of having a fake version of your target appear in the diss track video. Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg did something similar with "Sleazy-E" in "Dre Day," though their rendition was much, much goofier.
