Valee's music videos usually have a simple elegance to them, as it's hard to do too much when the songs are usually under two minutes long. His latest video for "Skinny," off his GOOD Job, You Found Me EP, is no different.
The video, directed by Cole Bennett, finds Valee in some familiar locations: inside a book store, in a parking lot outside a gas station, and next to a portable toilet. The locations are normal, but something isn't right. Cole tilts the camera every which way, never letting the viewer find balance in a shot. Valee also frequently raps very close to the camera, looking directly into the lens, leading to a somewhat discomforting feeling from the video.
