Jay Critch takes a toke of that Sherwood Forest on "Robin Hood."

Not only is Robin Hood one of literature's most celebrated antiheroes, but now, he's been immortalized in the Rich Gang canon. Following up his second drop of the day, the Chulo produced "Sweepstakes," Critch has returned with an uptempo trap banger. While his label boss Rich The Kid continues to enjoy the success of his The World Is Yours album, Critch may very well be next up.  Perhaps, by the end of the year, we'll have seen solo releases from the trifecta responsible for Rich Forever 3. In truth, a Critch drop feels like a foregone conclusion.

What will it sound like, I wonder? If Robin Hood is any indication, it would appear that melodic, autotune-laden bars are on the menu. His flow is more or less on point, but one would hope for a little bit more variety where subject matter is concerned. Robin Hood was a man of the people, although he no doubt enjoyed "bad bitches," ice, and good drank. Still, one hopes we can see a little bit more versatility from Critch in the future.

Quotable Lyrics

And I'm scoring so she holding D
Niggas snoring better go get some cheese
Touch down and I'm looking for freaks
Money come around getting more every week
