The 2018 NBA season tips tonight.

We finally made it to the start of a new NBA season. The 2018 campaign will kick off tonight with a double-header on TNT beginning at 8pm ET.

In the first game of TNT's double-header, Kyrie Irving, Gordon Hayward and the new-look Boston Celtics will visit the Quicken Loans Arena in downtown Cleveland for a showdown against LeBron, Dwyane Wade and the defending Eastern Conference champs.

Time: 8 p.m. ET
Location: Quicken Loans Arena - Cleveland, Ohio
TV: TNT
Live stream: Watch TNT (requires cable login)
SportsLine odds: CLE (-4)

Isaiah Thomas won't be suiting up tonight, and could be out for months due to his hip injury, which means Derrick Rose will get the start tonight alongside D-Wade in the Cleveland backcourt. LeBron James, Jae Crowder and Kevin Love round out Cleveland's starting five, which means J.R. Smith and Tristan Thompson will be coming off the bench.

As for the Celtics, head coach Brad Stevens just confirmed that the starting lineup will consist of Kyrie, Gordon Hayward, Jaylen Brown, rookie Jayson Tatum and Al Horford.

In the late game of tonight's double-header, the defending champion Golden State Warriors will host Chris Paul, James Harden and the Houston Rockets. That game is scheduled to begin at 10:30pm ET and will also air on TNT.

Time: 10:30 p.m. ET
Location: Oracle Arena - Oakland, California
TV: TNT
Live stream: Watch TNT (requires cable login)
SportsLine odds: GS (-9.5)

The Warriors enter the 2018 season as the odds on favorite to win the NBA title, which would be their third in four years. Steph, Klay, KD and Draymond are all healthy so expect the usual starting lineup from hell with Zaza Pachulia as the starting center.

The Rockets, who enter the season with 16/1 NBA title odds, plan to start Trevor Ariza, Ryan Anderson and Clint Capela along with their dynamic backcourt of CP3 and James Harden.
