Earlier in the year, Bronx upstart Kemba hopped on the JME banger “No You Ain’t” in a remix that doubled as a tribute and an appropriate showcase of the rapper’s skills. The song originally appeared on JME’s Integrity project of 2015 and just as it put the grime emcee’s complex wordplay at the forefront, Kemba takes a stab at laying prolific verses over the joint.
Now, the artist formerly known as YC The Cynic returns with an accompanying music video for his flip of the track. In a clip directed by Karla Cristina, viewers are treated to simple concept pushed forward by a series of trippy visual effects. Kemba drops this new video off with the assurance that we’ll be hearing a lot more from him this year.
