Snoop Dogg's son takes his first step into the world of modelling.

Snoop Dogg has gone from being one of the originators of the G-funk sound, along with the likes of Dr. Dre and the rest of the crew at former label titan Death Row, to holding a special place in the culture as one of the entertainment industry's most recognizable personalities. Now, one of his children is attempting to follow suit and make his mark in front of the camera - as a model.

According to Page Six of the New York Post, Cordell Broadus, a former UCLA football standout who quit the team in 2016 to focus on other ventures, has secured his first professional modelling campaign with luxury brand MCM Worldwide. The youngster got his first taste of the fashion industry last fall when he strutted his stuff on Philipp Plein's catwalk, which had led to increased exposure as a model for several big names, who may have interest in Snoop's son as the face of their threads.

The report also said that Broadus will feature in a Kenneth Cole campaign that kicks off next month. He's also in line to direct and write a short film for Kangol, a project that is currently in the early stages of pre-production. There's no release date penciled in as of yet, but there's not denying that Cordell is keeping himself busy off the football field with various other commitments. Once thought to be a top athletic prospect, it looks like Snoop Dogg's son is well on his way to making it big in show business.
