AD and Busta Rhymes trade murderous verses on "Hear My Cry."

After dropping off a string of consistently fire singles, Compton's own AD is set to launch his brand new album Blue 89 C2 tomorrow, December 15th. However, he has taken it upon himself to bless us with one final preview, and this time, he's brought out one of the wildest rappers of our time - the legendary Busta Rhymes. Together, the pair of them trade lengthy verses over a sparse, threatening piano loop, attacking it with serious intensity. "If K Dot number one I'm number two with it, got the proof with it, coward ain't hard n***a I'm Bruce Willis," raps AD, "I'm Dr. Seuss with a blue hat out the booth with it, I tell it if the shoe fit it, n**as I'm too livid."

After AD absolutely spazzes, Busta Rhymes comes through with the follow-up, channeling some of his early-career energy. It seems as if Bus-A-Bus always shines on the darker beats, and this one is no exception. If you haven't yet checked for AD's new album, you might want to put this one on your radar. The project is sleeping up to be an underrated West Coast gem.

Quotable Lyrics

If K Dot number one I'm number two with it,
Got the proof with it, coward ain't hard n***a I'm Bruce Willis
I'm Dr. Seuss with a blue hat out the booth with it
I tell it if the shoe fit it, n**as I'm too livid."
