Slim Thug has made a musical return to hip-hop today, releasing his new single "Kingz & Bosses" to coincide with the announcement of his forthcoming studio album, The World Is Yours. Featuring Big K.R.I.T., another man who impressed after what felt like a long layover in terms of his creative output, Slim Thug says that this album is both a departure and something familiar for his fans.
The rapper revealed a little bit about The World Is Yours to us, saying that it's "no Neptune production, but if you listen you can hear a few songs have that type of vibe to them." Additionally, he said that this track with K.R.I.T. is one of his favorites from the upcoming LP and, with its catchy hook and jazzy instrumental accents, it's not hard to see why.
