Mac Miller and Lord Finesse speak on coming to an agreement and settling their lawsuit, and say they are both willing to collaborate with each other in the future.

Mac Miller can never seem to get out of the way of lawsuits-- shortly after settling with Lord Finesse, Donald Trump has said that he'll be going after the young rapper for using his name in his single "Donald Trump." Although it seemed like Donald Trump and Mac Miller were on good terms, perhaps because Donald saw that other people were suing Mac, he decided to hop on the bandwagon.

We'll have to wait and see if Donald and Mac reach a cordial settlement in the way Finesse and Mac did. Now that the two have reached a settlement, following Finesse's lawsuit for $10 million, it seems the two are on good terms, and Mac has even said he'd like to work with Finesse. Although the details of the settlement have not been disclosed, both parties involved spoke to Fuse about coming to an agreement.

We had a brief statement from Mac previously, but now we get more words from him as well as Lord Finesse. Mac says he's happy that everything got worked out. "I’m happy, man. Everything worked out. We got to settle and both parties were happy. There’s no ill will. Everything’s cool. Me and Finesse have talked since then and we’re both just happy to be moving past everything."

Finesse reiterated Mac's sentiments, "I don’t have no beef with Mac. I think Mac is a cool dude. But [the lawsuit] became a lightning rod and people made it more than what it really was. It’s just the way the media makes it look. At this point, I just want to move forward and I wish Mac the best moving forward."

He continued, “"I’m just glad that it’s over and I’m definitely relieved that we moved past this." He added, "From day one, I never looked publicly to use this for attention and I purposely never talked about this from the beginning. This will be the only time I speak on this."

Both artists indicated a desire to collaborate with each other,  "I think that that’s something that I always wanted, so I’m not going to let anything get in the way of that. I still want to do a record with him. After everything was settled and closed, we spoke and exchanged some text messages of relief," Mac said.

Finesse echoed, "It’s something that I could see as a possibility further down the line."
