Z-Ro's been in the game for almost twenty years at this point. The Texan rapper dropped off his first project in 1998 and has been going strong since. He's dropped over twenty studio albums at this point and doesn't seem to get tired of the rap game. Earlier in the year, he dropped off his album No Love Boulevard and just a few months later, he comes back with his latest project Codeine.

The Texan native brings the regional sound to the forefront with his latest project. Codeine stretches for fifteen songs deep with each one of bound to rattle the trunk. Z-Ro holds down the majority of the project of his own but he does grab a few guest features for the project. Lil' Keke, Big Baby Flava, Lil Flea and Jhonni Blaze all come through for him on his recent project. It's a solid project filled with strong southern anthems.
