Check out Sylvan LaCue's latest song & video offering "5:55."

Before hitting us with his upcoming album Apologies In Advanced, Sylvan Lacue decides to come through ahead of time and share a new song & accompanying video in its support called “5:55,” which is in response to Hov’s “4:44.”

“‘4:44’ deeply inspired my upcoming album Apologies in Advance,” LaCue says about the song. “‘5:55’ is my answer to JAY’s ‘4:44.’ Spiritually speaking, “4:44” means to have a spiritual awakening. “5:55″ means you’re ready for massive change.”

"This song is a bonus cut, but it also serves as a resolve to everything you hear on the album. Because of the darkness I feel we're experiencing on earth right now, it's important we remember that we have to be the light we want to see exist around us. That means showing up. Even when you're not at your best. Even when it's dark outside.”

Check out the Jonathan Benavente-directed clip and let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics:

And I know, I know, I know I'm a mess
I don' made a mess now
Caught me slippin' on the right
Whippin from the left now
I been all up off my game
Young, dumb and stressed out
Might not hit a triple-double
But I put my best out
