Late last night, shortly after Russell Westbrook was named the 2017 NBA MVP, Jordan Brand released a special edition "RW" Air Jordan 31, the shoe that Russ wore during his historic season.
Additionally, Jordan Brand also sent Westbrook a commemorative "31/10/10" sneaker pack which included that "RW" Air Jordan 31 as well as two monochromatic Air Jordan 10s, decked out in blue and orange as a nod to the OKC Thunder. The "31/10/10" theme is a play on Westbrook's season stats.
Included with the special edition pack is a letter from MJ himself which reads,
"Congrats, Russell.
I got my first MVP award before my first ring, too... Keep going!"
