Blackbear and Tinashe link up for a cut on his upcoming project.

Blackbear's been slowly making his way to the forefront of hip hop. He's probably best known for his writing credits on Justin Bieber's mega hit "Boyfriend" back in 2012. Since then, he's tip toed his way out of he pop/rock background that he was first involved with and took his skills to hip hop. Over the past year, he's been dropping singles in anticipation of his upcoming album. Today, he unleashes another turnt up single featuring California's sweetheart, Tinashe.

Tinashe and Blackbear connect on this club heavy record, "Up In This." Tinashe comes through with her sultry voice to open the track up for the hook. "Up In This" has a heavy electronic influence behind it and definitely sounds like it's meant to be pumped up at the club. Blackbear's voice morphs through the production as it pitches high and low throughout the verses. In comparison to the other singles he released off his CyberSex project so far, this one definitely has a more poppy feel that falls in vein with the previous work he did with Justin Bieber. Nonetheless, it's a single that continues to prove his versatility with styles.

Blackbear's upcoming project sounds like it'll be a healthy blend of hip hop, R&B, pop and electronic. Those are the fields he's been known to dabble in. Just last week he dropped off a new single with Cam'Ron. And the majority of other collaborations he's released have had some sort of hip hop or R&B artist featured on it. The project is set to release on November 27th, so with a month more to wait to receive it, it'll be interesting to see what other artists he reveals is on the project.

It's like I'm Drake now
My shit is way out
Mama got a lake house
