Ice Spice took to Instagram to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at her performance with Taylor Swift.

Ice Spice recently shared a series of selfies she took at Taylor Swift's Eras show in New Jersey. The rapper captioned the Instagram post, "karma," referring to the new remix of Swift's song she is featured on. Her post also features shots of the two artists performing the new remix onstage.

Yesterday, it became clear how Ice Spice's fans felt about the collaboration. "That verse was so bad," one user claimed after the premiere of the remix. Other fans speculated that the remix was dropped amid Swift's rumored romance with Matty Healy as a means of damage control. In Feburary, Healy appeared on The Adam Friedland Show where he made some controversial comments about Ice Spice's look.

Ice Spice's Fans Aren't Loving The Collab

Healy called the Bronx rapper "an Inuit Spice Girl,“ before mocking Inuit, Hawaiian, and Chinese accents. Yungblood fired back on Twitter, “Love listening to three privileged white dudes sit around and objectify a young black female artist who’s blowing up." Many viewers thought the comments were racist and insensitive. "You can really tell the ‘Karma (Remix)’ was done last minute for damage control to clear Taylor Swift & her [Nazi] boyfriend image after he said all those racist slurs to Ice Spice," one user wrote about the collab.

Swift announced the collaboration earlier this week on social media. She wrote in an Instagram post to fans, "Um. SO much to tell you. I’m a massive fan of this brilliant artist and after getting to know her I can confirm: she is THE ONE to watch." She continued, writing, "So delighted to say that Karma Featuring the incredible @icespice will be out TOMORROW night at MIDNIGHT ET as a part of the new Midnights (Til Dawn Edition) deluxe album that you can pre-order now at store.taylorswift.com!" The music video for the remix also dropped today, and despite pushback against the collab, some fans seem to see the pair as a good match.
