Women Drake Has Been Romantically Linked To

Drake and Jennifer Lopez more or less confirmed rumors they were dating by posting a cuddly Instagram pic earlier today, and it's not the first time Drake has created a spectacle around a woman he was rumored to be linked to. Following the post, we've gone back through some of the women the rapper has rumored to have shared some romance with. Some have been confirmed, others not so much, and a few were simply a one-date type of scenario. Click through to take a trip through the many gossipy headlines of the last few years.

Keshia Chanté

If you grew up watching Much Music, you'll remember Keshia Chanté as an up-and-coming Canadian singer, otherwise, you probably know her as the host of 106 & Park. Back in the Much Music days, it seems Drake (also a Canadian TV regular at the time) and Keyshia had some kind of a romance. “She’s a cool person, I’d be proud to say that we had our time when we were like 16 years old,” said Drake of Chanté.

Rihanna

Rihanna is Drake's most on-and-off relationship. The two first got together way back in 2009 when Drake was first entering the public eye, linking once again in 2014 on the European leg of his Would You Like A Tour. In summer 2016, the couple seemed to have reunited for a time after working on new music together, with Drake proclaiming at the VMAs "She is someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old."

Serena Williams

It's been suggested that Drake and Common's beef was at least partially inspired by rumors Drake and Serena (Common's ex) were dating. A few years later, the two reunited and made things a little more clear when they seemed to be getting close while Drake watched her compete in the U.S. Open. Things didn't last, but Serena did refer to "Aubrey" as the "funniest person" she knows later on.

Cat Washington

"Bad Girls Club" reality star Cat Washington appeared in the Kanye West-directed video for "Best I Ever Had," which is where Drake met her, and the two dated for about a year.

"We sat on the bleachers on set," she told Philly’s 107.9. "Having fun, tweeted each other back and forth–real cool. Never thought it would go anywhere just cool, kicking it. The next thing you know I’m in Toronto and we’re having dinner. He flew me out to Toronto and we started kicking it and liking each other. One flight turned into ten, then the next thing you know I got a toothbrush in there and it’s on."

Zoe Kravitz

Between a picture of Drake kissing Zoe shared on Instagram, and reports the two were "all over each other" after the rapper attended a show her band played Lolawolf played in Toronto in 2014, it's been strongly rumored that these two had some kind of fling.

Dollicia Bryan

In 2011, Drake and actress and video model Dollicia Bryan were close enough to be spending the holidays together, as her rep confirmed at the time. While things didn't last, things seem to have ended on relatively good terms as he still follows her on Twitter to this day.

Bria Myles 

Bria inspired both "Bria's Interlude" on Thank Me Later, and some lyrics on "From Time," a Nothing Was The Same deep cut. The two met in Houston, an encounter he shared on the latter track.

Tika Sumpter

Tika has expressed her "slight crush" on Drake, and she also recalled going out to dinner with Drake and the rest of the cast of Nikolodeon's "Best Friends" where she got to know him a little better. "He was so nice. And I remember him being like, ‘I’m working on music,’ and he sent me some music, actually. So yeah, he’s been working on music for a long time. And I just remember- I used to call him Aubrey. And he was just super sweet and super nice.”

Kat Dennings

Drake and Kat went on one date, as he recalled on a 2013 appearance on Ellen. Unfortunately, he didn't win her over.  

"I just always had a huge crush on Kat Dennings and she was kind enough one night to oblige me and we went out for dinner," he said. "They don't call me back after one date according to this."

Like Kat Dennings, Drake confirmed that he had gone on one date with Tyra on an Ellen appearance. She would later play his girlfriend in the video for his VIEWS single "Child's Play."

Teyana Taylor

Drake and Teyana Taylor go way back to the Myspace (he's still in her Top 8!), with Teyana posting some pictures of Drake planting a kiss on her on the platform back in 2009. In 2013 they reunited for another pic, where Drake referenced their history, calling Teyana a #DayOne.

Bernice Burgos

Drake toured Australia following the release of 2015's If You're Reading This It's Too Late, and he brought video model Bernice Burgos with him. The two were photographed getting pretty close at the pool during Drake's stay.

Maliah Michel

Maliah, a model and stripper at the King Of Diamonds club in Miami, starred opposite Drake in the "Find Your Love" video, and was shouted out in Drizzy's "Miss Me" single from Thank Me Later. While they dated for a time, Maliah has suggested that her profession raised tension in the relationship.

Rita Ora

After Rita Ora appeared in his video for "Over," Drake and the UK singer collaborated on her track "R.I.P" and were reportedly "seen kissing" at a show in Newcastle where Rita was the opening act.

Jennifer Lopez

Most recently, Drake has been linked to Jennifer Lopez. It started with a photo of the two together in Las Vegas, followed by a "date" in Hollywood, and seemingly confirmed with a very cuddly Instagram post (which both Drake and JLO put up on their respective accounts).
