Woman Claims OBJ Assaulted Her
According to a TMZ report, the LAPD has opened an investigation into reports of an assault at the Los Angeles nightclub Delilah. Sources told TMZ that a woman has alleged that Beckham Jr. put his hand around her neck. The incident reportedly happened some weeks ago and has only recently moved to the investigation stage. No further details were made available to TMZ by their sources. The NFL and Baltimore Ravens are yet to comment on the allegations.
Beckham Jr.'s representative told TMZ that neither they nor Beckham Jr. had been contacted by police. Furthermore, they were not aware that an investigation was underway. They went on to "vehemently" claim Beckham Jr. was innocent and had done nothing wrong. TMZ also reached out to John Terzian, the owner of Delilah. Terzian also denied the allegations, stating that "the claim is false. There is no evidence of this person even being in the area where she claims the incident occurred.” It's pertinent to mention that while "investigation" sounds serious, it is a formality of law enforcement.
