Specifically, Reddick succame to Ischemic Heart Disease and Atherosclerotic Coronary Artery Disease. Both conditions relate to the coronary arteries. Coronary Heart Disease is the leading cause of death in the United States. An estimated 18.2 million adults suffer from it. Following his death, his wife released a heartfelt statement, saying he had been "taken too soon". She also asked fans to send donations to a Baltimore-based neo-natal charity.
Lance was widely praised for his commitment, dedication, and demeanor on set. The sentiment came from across the industry, from roles post past and present.
