Cam'ron's preparing the sequel to 2006's self-directed, "Killa Season."

Cam’ron isn’t necessarily active in music as much as we’d like him to be. Though he blessed fans with the release of U Wasn’t There with DJ A-Trak in 2022, his efforts seem focused on his numerous businesses under the Flee Farm umbrella. He has his own line of cannabis products, natural male supplements, and most recently, a sports talk show alongside Ma$e, who he patched things up with in 2021 after years of feuding. The two even released new music together but their plans for a joint project and a tour seemingly fell through.

More than music, many fans have hoped for Cam’ron’s return to the big screen. Though his acting resume is quite short, his acting chops have won fans over in films like Paid In Full and his own self-directed effort, Killa Season. The latter accompanied the release of his 2006 album of the same name. Despite its low budget quality, it gained a cult following and became a hood classic that remains a celebrated piece of Dipset’s incredible history throughout the years.

Cam’ron Teases “Killa Season 2”

It looks like a sequel could be on the way, according to Cam’ron’s Instagram page. The rapper previously began hinting at the album's release in 2021, though much like Camdemic and The Program 2, there have been no updates in recent times. Still, fans have hounded the Harlem legend to share a sequel to his 2006 movie. “We still waiting on part 2,” a fan wrote on their Instagram story while tagging the “Oh Boy” MC. The comment evidently caught his attention and he confirmed that he would be seeing the project before the end of the year. He wrote in response, “Fine I’ll do it Ks2 this Christmas. You’re welcome!!!”

Killa Season is a semi-autobiographical film that follows Cam’ron (as Flee) from his early beginnings as a high school basketball star who transforms into a full-time heroin dealer. Though it could be described as a crime drama, Killa Season did an incredible show of showcasing Cam’s unmatched humor, like the moment where he spits on a little girl’s face. It’s unclear what the plot of Killa Season 2 will consist of but we’re certainly excited to see what Cam has up his sleeve.
