Brett Favre is someone who has been criticized a lot over the last few months. Overall, this is due to allegations that he diverted Mississippi welfare funds away from their intended recipients. Reports suggest that Favre was in cahoots with the state of Mississippi as he was trying to get money to help build a facility for his daughter's volleyball team. Favre's daughter plays for the University of Southern Mississippi, and the school is under a ton of scrutiny right now. However, Favre has denied all wrongdoing and continues to proclaim his innocence.

Mississippi is one of the poorest states in America, which has ultimately led to outrage over the allegations. Numerous broadcasters have spoken at length about the accusations, including Shannon Sharpe. Moreover, people like Pat McAfee have also offered some commentary on the matter. For Favre, this is a situation that has cost him his reputation. As it stands, Favre's alleged involvement in all of this is still being investigated.
