The controversial rapper was given a police escort but was not arrested.

XXXTENTACION's Friday night show in Miami was shut down by police, as fan-shot footage shows. Cops escorted the South Florida rapper out of the large, lively crowd after booting people from the venue. It appears that the crowd, which some described as a riot, was deemed unsafe by the officers.

X's manager, Adam22, tells XXL that "Police escorted [X] to safety because he’s a fucking superstar, and his presence damn near incited a riot." This debunks reports from observers who believed X was being arrested.

As can be seen in the above video, the crowd chanted "Fuck Drake" after the show was brought to a close. X has been vocal about his belief that Drake borrowed the flow from his track "Look At Me!" on More Life's "KMT." Meanwhile, Drake denies that he knew of X before recording the song.

Released from jail last month, XXXTENTACION is currently serving 6 years probation for charges of home invasion and battery. He still faces charges of aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, and witness-tampering linked to an alleged assault on his then-girlfriend in October 2016. The rapper was released on bail last December and has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
