Listen to Peewee Longway's collab with PND off "Blue M&M 3."

This afternoon, after a two-year wait in between instalments, Peewee Longway finally followed up with Blue M&M 3. Despite the two-year wait between the series that might be a fan-favorite but is still generally under-appreciated, the rapper has been releasing music, although that too is sparingly. It's basically been over a year since we've heard from Mr. Blue Benjamin.

Thus fans should be happy with the rapper's return, and not only that, the fact that he brought along some dope collaborators as well-- Quavo, Offset, PND, Cassius Jay, Dun Deal, the list goes on. Hopefully this'll help put the spotlight on Peewee, a Gucci Mane underling, and 1017 signee.

Among the songs people are quickly gravitating towards, unsurprisingly, is the PARTYNEXTDOOR-featured "His Name is Cassius" -- Cassius Jay is also the producer of the r'n'b-leaning collaboration. The song is sombre and soft, but still feels like it belongs in the trap, with light drums and watery synths provided by Cassius Jay. PARTYNEXTDOOR seems to channel his best Ca$h Out impression (agree or disagree? or else consider: Young Thug?) for his appearance on the record. Interestingly enough, in terms of the PND-Ca$h Out connection, the two have collabed in the past, to extremely dope result (see: "Don't Worry" but also "Sexually"), so that's no slight towards PARTY, rather, it'd be dope to see these two link back up, because they obviously have sounds and styles that align well.

PND actually ends up dominating most of the collab with Peewee Longway, melodically mumbling through his hook and verses. Peewee really just comes through for a quick verse midway. What do you think? Does it live up to your expectation?

Check out the full Blue M&M 3 mixtape here, and let us know which record stands out to you the most. Let's hope Peewee maintains his presence on the music scene.
