The artist formerly known as JT The Bigga Figga just released his new single "Phone Ringing," featuring Kevin Gates. The Bay Area rapper spoke with Mass Appeal about his upcoming project Cali Boy Down South, and revealed that "Phone Ringing" was a leftover from the sessions that led to an collaborative album between him and Gates.
"We recorded a full album, which I released but I held onto this song because I knew it was special," said JT. "He just got sentenced to 30 months and I want to help keep his name out and keep his buzz going.”
