If you follow Katy Perry on social media then you might’ve notice she took a pretty unique marketing approach with her new single “Chained To The Rhythm.” Rather than just tweeting a release date & dropping it on iTunes, Katy decided to release a map Wednesday morning showing the locations of few dozen disco balls all over the world that were playing the single ahead of its release. Places like NYC, Chicago, & Paris all had fans on a scavenger hunt to hear the new single, but now that it’s Friday the single has officially been released on iTunes.
