Jermaine Dupri introduces Phresh Ali on a new So So Def collab with Da Brat: "Lightning Round."

So So Def is mounting a comeback. Label boss Jermaine Dupri has now spearheaded a few collabs with Da Brat over the last few months. Following the Jahlil Beats-produced "Big Brother x Lil Sister" and the Timbaland-produced "Alessandro Michele," the veteran pair is back on a track called "Lightning Round." The new song also features a new artist by the name of Phresh Ali, who shows himself as an astute lyricist on his impressive opening verse. Da Brat and JD then go back and forth before the Chicago lady emcee proceeds with a furious verse of her own. After each verse, all three emcees unite to chant, "Your arms are too short to box with the gods." The producer of the haunting old-school instrumental hasn't yet been listed.

Phresh Ali hails from East Atlanta -- "the hip-hop side of ATL that don't get the light like the trap stuff," says Dupri, "But we 'bout to change that."
