Gucci Mane remixes French Montana and Kodak Black's "Lockjaw," one of the summer's hottest tracks.

"Lockjaw" is one of the waviest tracks that French Montana has ever put out. It just entered the Billboard Hot 100, and its climb up the chart will likely continue for the whole summer. He's had similar tracks that have been slept on, but all the ingredients of "Lockjaw" were arranged too perfectly for it not to be a hit. Graced with an ethereal ambient trap production from the criminally underrated Ben Billions, the track features arguably the game's hottest young act in Kodak Black, who brilliantly calms his usual flow to match French's ideal tempo. The Spiff TV-shot video, set in Port-au-Prince, Haiti as well as Kodak's hometown of Pompano Beach, has been crucial in helping the track blow up.

To capitalize on all the buzz, French Montana took over Oliver El-Khatib's OVO Sound Radio set tonight and shared a new remix of "Lockjaw," featuring Gucci Mane, who's never been going harder than he is now, approaching the release of his comeback album, Everybody Looking. Wop proves to be the perfect candidate for the remix. That's a whole lotta trill on one track.

Gucci's Everybody Looking is due out on July 22, and French's MC4 is set for August 19.

Quotable Lyrics

I'm tryna stay sucker free, I ain't fuckin' with blow pops
I keep runnin' lights, I fear the feds, not patrol cops
I had to shower in my boots, I had to sleep in my shoes
I hide a snitch in the trunk like he Rae Carruth
