Far Rock's Devin Lee brings lyricism and energy on his new track "Tax Money."

Devin Lee is a new voice outta Far Rock, the Queens neighborhood that was home to the late Chinx and a place that Lee describes as "not on Earth." Lee is clearly a student of the great New York lyricists that have come before him, and he's also got a high-energy flow that's rare to see alongside such detailed lyricism. His latest track is titled "Tax Money," and it finds Lee ripping through non-stop bars while keeping a tempo that's steady enough for the jazzy production.

Lee's verses on "Tax Money" are rapped in a stream of consciousness, and he's still able to segue seamlessly into the hook, which gets catchier with each drop. "Tax Money" is the lead track off Lee's upcoming project, which is yet to be titled.

Quotable Lyrics

Hands up, wave 'em side to side
Stand through rearview light
Tools up, crystals in my cup
N*ggas keep pistols tucked
Four leaf, n*gga don't press your luck
Really got it for the police
