Westside Gunn has been getting some very excellent collaborations as of late, in preparation for his album Flygod dropping this Friday, March 11. This single features Danny Brown as the two team up over an unusual instrumental for “Bodies On Fairfax.”
Both rappers let their lyrics shine on this track, which features very little in the way of drums. Instead, the beat is driven by a xylophone and string instrument loop. The occasional cymbal crash provides the only percussion. Danny Brown spits about his favorite subject (drugs) on the first 16, while Westside Gunn takes it to Fairfax to flex for his.
