Red Cafe embodies the New York hustle mentality, as he’s always getting his hands dirty in some part of the music industry. This is just one of two tracks we’re premiering from the veteran emcee. Both come from his new mixtape Dope God dropping this evening at 6pm.
The mid-tempo track uses a keyboard loop as the anchor while Red Cafe flexes both his rapping and singing talents, utilizing minimal (or at least subtle) auto-tune effects. He rhymes about the various ways he makes sure his cash flow stays strong, and then what he uses those funds on.
