Abra won us over with her DIY approach to house-infused-R&B, which she fleshed out on her impressive ROSE project earlier this year. Now she's shared another new record, which features a very clubby synth riff, which she offsets with a simple drum arrangement and some half-whispered, emotionally delivered vocals that quickly fall into a hypnotic circular rhythm.
As far as we know, it's not attached to any kind of project, but we're sure whatever comes next will fin the Awful Records singer further perfecting her skeletal pop, and we're very excited to hear it.
