The single is his first release since his breakout mixtape, Marauding In Paradise, released in August. That project introduced Cartier as a unique prospect out of Toronto, and it's clear his next release, prefaced by "Stick & Move," will be even better.
Cartier brings both attitude and lyricism to the ominous club production, a rare combination when it comes to trap. Whether he's rapping loud and direct or singing in drugged-out auto-tune, there's a raw emotion that translates through all of his lyrics.
