Thanks to Bruno Mars' use of the phrase "Don't believe me, just watch" on the hook, Trinidad James got a very surprising writing credit on his and Mark Ronson's chart-topping track "Uptown Funk." Now, he's been called upon for an official remix of the hit, which Bruno Mars just shared on his YouTube channel.
Unfortunately, unlike Action Bronson's take on the track, Trinidad only gets one brief verse to himself, with the original song just tacked on at the end. This one's clearly geared towards radio play, and will probably help "Uptown Funk" have the same impact on hip-hop stations as it has on pop ones.
