Maxo Kream enlists Joey Bada$$ for "1998" off his new album.

Crip-turned-rapper Maxo Kream dropped off a new album, #MAXO187, yesterday, which is currently streaming on Soundcloud. Among them projects 15 tracks, a highlight comes in the form of the Joey Bada$$-featured "1998." The Houston rapper brings us a sound that wouldn't be out of place on a Pusha T album, with minimal, percussion production, not to mention references to drug-dealing and BAPE. It's also a pretty modern beat to hear the oft-old school Joey on.

What do you think of Maxo Kream? Stream or download the rest of his album here if you're interested, with appearances from Father, Le$, Fredo Santana and more.

Quotable Lyrics

Don't call my phone if you not a yellow bone
I'm an H-town nigga so I need extra dome
Keep a deuce to the screw, double cup styrofoam
Chop a lot of molly cause I get it by the key
For the sherm heads I got PCP
