As up-and-coming Virginia Beach rapper DP hasn't shared a new solo track since last July's "Glitch", the fact that he just posted a new one on his SoundCloud is cause for celebration.
Teaming up with "Draft Day" producer Ducko McFli and Harlem's $ha Hef, DP gives us the gritty "Flight Risk", which is accompanied by very literal artwork. Ducko keeps the drums minimal on this one, opting instead to give us some fantastic atmosphere with a descending piano line and a haunting vocal sample. DP spits first on this hookless track, giving us a relentless verse before $ha Hef makes us ashamed that we haven't heard of him before this. Watch the "Flight Risk" video here.
