Troy Ave recently visited Funkmaster Flex at the Hot 97 offices to premiere a new track called "Doo Doo" that's somewhat out of character for the powder-obsessed rapper. Listen to the radio rip now.
A piano-led track that recalls Biz Markie's "Just A Friend" more than anything else, "Doo Doo" is about as lighthearted as its title suggests, with Ave singing for most of the track before busting out a verse about halfway through. For a guy who's always seemed too insecure to break out of of his conventional coke-rapper mode, "Doo Doo" is, despite its title, a breath of fresh air.
