A-Trak drops off "Push," his first solo joint in a while.

For most of this year, Fool's Gold label boss, producer and DJ A-Trak has been focusing on his Low Pros project with Lex Luger, releasing an EP under the moniker and performing with Luger at several of his Fool's Gold "Day Off" events. But, lest we forget, the Canadian DJ is also a house producer and the brother of one-half of the funk duo Chromeo, so it's not surprising that he's returning to non-hip-hop fare with his new track.

"Push" features Andrew Wyatt of the group Miike Snow, and just like one of that band's best-known hits, "Push" is an uptempo, piano-driven number. The SoundCloud description says that this track "announces a new chapter of solo material" from A-Trak, so stay tuned for more music similar to this.

Quotable Lyrics

Let down
I feel you disconnect emotion
Let down
You stand there cold and proud like I'm no your man
