Bobby Shmurda's style is definitely indebted to Chicago's drill scene, so it only makes sense for an artist from Chi to take on the Jahlil Beats instrumental that's been passed around over the last few weeks.
While there are plenty of incredible artists out of the city, Lil Herb may be the best fit for this particular beat. His ferocious flows meet the intensity of the beat perfectly, and his technical ability is nothing to scoff at either.
Herb put out his debut mixtape, Welcome To Fazoland, earlier this year, and in this writer's opinion, it's still one of 2014's best.
