Faith Evans and Jadakiss do the late Notorious B.I.G proud with the new music video for the song "NYC," off the recent album The King and I, which was a project spearheaded by Evans. Featuring posthumous appearances from Biggie Smalls, the album in its entirety was a welcome flashback to the vibe of mid-90's New York and the hip-hop scene from back then.
The visuals echo a similar sense of sentimentality, with several sweeping panoramic skyline shots of the Big Apple and others that showcase Faith and featured artist Jadakiss dancing in front of graffiti-covered building facades. It's an old-school look to a suitably retro-sounding song. A nice bit of work from all involved.
