Kemba drops minimalist video for "Greed."

Bronx rapper Kemba just dropped some visuals for "Greed," a standout cut off his 2016 album Negus. Appropriately enough, "Greed" is an exercise in restraint, with a beat that wants nothing more than to explode in a burst of percussion. The visuals mirror the tense nature of the beat, with minimalist lighting and visual effects moving in sync with the drums as if symbiotic. Kemba stands at the forefront of it all, concealed in shadow, moving like some sort of rhyme-spitting astral projection. When the track finally reaches its conclusion, the drums come to life, begging to be lyrically murdered. But Kemba isn't greedy. He knows he's said enough.
