The St. Louis rapper is back to bless us with a new video, featuring a desert road-trip romance. The titular Anita, played here by multi-talented Jean Deaux (who also directed the video) is a constant presence, leading the lovestruck Smino into desert dive bars, cruising down highways with the top back, and ubran spelunking through an abandoned church. The synesthetic video employs effective use of vibrant color, chiefly orange and pink, to visualize the breezy aesthetic of the musical arrangement. Smino plays a convincing hero - likeable and innocent off the bat, while proving equally deadly behind the mic.
