To be honest, I still don't completely understand how the Pokemon Go app works, I only just found out that it's a game you need to play outside in your real-life neighborhood (?), but nonetheless, I definitely see the Pokemon Go frenzy taking over even the maturest of adults. We dug into some Pokemon rap references in honor of the app's release, and now following that up, we decided to bring back Word On The Street real quick to see how New Yorkers are feeling about the app (or, rather, how obsessed they are with it).
We find out what level people are playing at, their team of choice, their favorite Pokemons and more in this episode of Word On The Street. Shout out the dude who left his house at 2 AM in the morning to hit up his sketchy cornerstore just to catch 'em.
