Unfortunately, the hip-hop world lost a legend last week when Phife Dawg, of A Tribe Called Quest, had sadly passed away at the young age of 45. While his presence may not be felt physically anymore, his legacy & music will most certainly live on. In fact, there’s a new song & accompanying video set to arrive later today (Tuesday) in Phife’s honor called “Nutshell,” which will be produced by the late J Dilla.
Set to hit iTunes, a portion of the proceeds from the record sales will go to the American Diabetes Association and the National Kidney Foundation. Before we get the full version, check out a preview of the song ahead of time. RIP Phife Dawg.
