Tha Alumni's Vee Tha Rula has come through today with the visual for "Wheels Up," a standout track off his new From the Jump mixtape. The instrumental is driven by some booming bass, but it's still minimal enough for Vee to let loose a few sharp, fast-paced verses. Along with a chopped-up Houston-style hook, it's a banging record from the Phoenix native, who's looking to have his biggest year yet.
The new video takes place in and around Vee's hometown. The desert doesn't have too much to offer, though Vee has found luxury in the form of drop-top Lexuses and private jets. Elsewhere in the inner-city, a young kid plays Vee through his headphones and imagines living the dream using a paper plane of his own.
