Vince Staples just dropped his debut album, Summertime 06, to rave reviews, and he's now the latest subject of Sprite's "Obey Your Thirst documentary. The series has been rounding the bases when it comes to different perspectives in rap, starting with the current hottest rapper in the game, Drake, moving to one of the genre's most important figures, Nas, and now highlighting a newcomer with serious potential.
The 2-minute mini-doc follows Vince through his Long Beach neighborhood, as he speaks on the importance of having a voice, and representing the place you came from.
