A timeline of recent events regarding ScHoolboy Q's fourth studio album Blank Face, which is slated to drop on July 8th:
April 4th: Q drops "Groovy Tony."
Later in April: Q turns in album, celebrates by taking his homies on vacation to Hawaii.
May 13th: Q drops "THat Part" feat. Kanye West.
June 14th: Q reveals album title. (He actually revealed the title in the opening line of "Groovy Tony." "Blank face, Tre 8, kill everybody, fuck an AK...") He also revealed what appeared to be the album cover, a Crying Jordan with the face wiped clean, which virtually guaranteed that the album is going to be a classic.
June 16th: Q reveals actual album cover.

A banger with A$AP Rocky
"Hands On The Wheel." "Electric Body." "Brand New Guy." "PMW." Name a song that ScHoolboy Q and A$AP Rocky made together that wasn't a banger. You can't!
ScHoolboy and Rocky both exude an air of supreme confidence. They both possess a sharp sense of humor, and they trumpet their lecherous tales with reckless abandon. When teamed up, they cannot be stopped.
Also acceptable: a banger with A$AP Ferg.
A feature from a new TDE artist
At the end of February, TDE president/unofficial spokesman Anthony Tiffith revealed that the label was planning to add two artists to its roster: John Doe 1 and John Doe 2. John Doe 1 turned out to be Lance Skiiiwalker, the mysterious singer who appeared on two songs on Jay Rock's 90059. (Many theorized that he was simply Jay Rock's alter ego.) Granted, TDE didn't formally announce the addition of Skiiiwalker until eight months after 90059 was released.
Anyway. The people demand to know the identity of John Doe 2. Blank Face LP provides an opportunity to unveil his/her identity with a bang.
Lots of production from Sounwave
Sounwave is TDE's primary in-house producer. Although best known for producing "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe" and for his role as one of the chief architects of To Pimp a Butterfly, he has a track record of success when working with ScHoolboy Q. In fact, the three songs he's produced for ScHoolboy - "There He Go," "Rolling Stone," and "Prescription / Oxymoron" -- paint a fairly comphrensive portrait of Sounwave's subtle and cerebral production style.
Sounwave is a genius and ScHoolboy would do well to use his superb beats on Blank Face.
A Black Hippy posse cut
There are few sweeter sounds in hip hop than that of the four members of Black Hippy gangbanging a beat. Y'all remember "Vice City"? That video had the entire internet in flames for weeks.
The inclusion of one Black Hippy posse cut on every Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, and Ab-Soul album should be a law.
A roast track
As anyone who follows ScHoolboy Q on Snapchat knows, he might be a better comedian than rapper. The man was born with a gift -- a gift for roasting people.
ScHoolboy Q roasts everybody. He roasts Ab-Soul. He roasts Isaiah Rashad. He roasts Mac Miller. He roasts his entourage. He roasts his daughter. He roasts his dog (RIP Big Groove). He roasts himself.
Lots of rappers make diss tracks. We need more roast tracks. If anyone is going to pioneer the roast track, it's ScHoolboy Q.
